Urban Tailz came to life because we felt that there is a large divide in the delivery of services and the perceptions of pet owners. This is specifically on how they want, hope, and believe their cherished fur babies, feathered friends, and other loved pets are going to be looked after.
Our business was created to provide an opportunity for pet parents and our walkers and sitters to understand, convey, and tailor the expectations.
Your pets will be a priority. Importantly, we will provide the same love, care, and attention that you provide to your pets and then some! We are a small, personalised service focused on the growth of our business so we can support more pet parents.

Meet Michele
Hi. My name is Michele. I have recently retired after spending most of my working life in the Public Service.
My passion is animals. Growing up our family bred Beagles and Labradors. I have also owned Kelpies and Maltese Shih tzus. My current Maltese Shih tzu, Lacey, was a rescue dog and I got her when she was 6 months old. Lacey is now 6 and as a pup had a lot of behavioural issues and phobias. With a lot of love and patience she is now a totally different dog and has always been very special to me. Over the years I have also owned cats, chickens, budgies, mice, a pet lamb and fish.
I know firsthand, the peace of mind that comes from knowing your home and pets are in good hands. As a local Peninsula homeowner myself, I'm dedicated to providing that same level of care for you. Nothing is too much trouble for me...all you need to do is ask! I am committed to providing the best of care for your pets. I am available for overnight stays, dog walking and checking on your pets during the day and making sure they are always happy and content.
My friends and family call me a 'neat freak' and say I am the most organised person they know.
I value the ethics and morals of Urban Tailz, and I am impressed by Urban Tailz's reputation, and I am confident that my skills and values make me a valuable asset to the team.
My personal life experiences, passion for animals, and meticulous attention to detail make me confident in my ability to provide the highest quality pet sitting services in Redcliffe and surrounds. I have been pet sitting for the last couple of years (for the love of it) and can’t wait until I am doing more, of what I love full-time.

Meet Nicole
Hi! My name is Nicole & this is a little bit 'about me'
A country girl, I grew up around all sorts of animals, but dogs have always been a constant in my life and something I found I couldn’t live without. For years when personal pet ownership wasn’t an option, I made sure I volunteered at my local pound or shelter.
Miss Maddie and Mr Boof were my constant companions for 15 and 12 years. My pets were my children and as such came everywhere with us, they were very well travelled dogs, going across the country and back and many adventures were had. We considered them married as they even had one lot of pups between them.
Over the years I have tried to maintain some capacity with animals outside of my own. For a time I was an ambulance driver with the RSPCA and I have cared for injured and orphaned possums for many years.
Two years ago we rescued our first dog Tuppence. It has been a long and at times bumpy road but with lots of patience and understanding we now have a have a dog who is stress free and happy the majority of the time.
Having someone else care for your pets can be a worrisome time for many pet owner’s and all we want is someone to look after them exactly the way we ask!
I understand the importance of following your specific instructions and please know that I will always treat your pets as if they were my own.
I have done sits for friends and their friends over the years, and each time I thoroughly enjoy myself and feel like I’m on a mini holiday. As such, I respect your home and will ensure that it is left in the same condition as I found it.
I also used to run my own pet photography business known as Pups - Pop up Pet Studios and this is something that I am working on having back up and running very soon - so keep an eye on this space!

What To Expect
We will show your pets love, and respect the instructions you’ve given us. At Urban Tailz, we are humbled by, and thankful for the opportunity to take care of your pet, regardless if it is for a 30-minute walk, a home visit, or House Sitting.
Whether you have booked in for a walk or house sitting because you have something planned, or perhaps jet setting off to a secluded island for some R & R...whatever the reason, we hope that you are able to enjoy your time without a single worry about your pet/s and property as they are in trusted hands - like Bodhi and Max are with Mr Urban Tailz (aka Warren).
