Hello Pawrents. 

My name is Michele. After working for over 20 years in the Public Service I decided to retire – I realised I’d much prefer to spend time with animals rather than humans!

Growing up my family bred Beagles and Labradors. I have also owned Kelpies and Maltese Shih tzus. My current Maltese Shih tzu, Lacey, was a rescue dog and I adopted her when she was 6 months old. Lacey is now 8. As a pup she had a lot of behavioural issues and phobias. With a lot of love and patience she is now a totally different doggo and she is my world. Over the years I have also owned cats, chickens, budgies, mice, a pet lamb and fish.

I have worked alongside Urban Tailz since September 2024. I now have almost 50 clients on my books and I spoil their pets rotten and care for their homes as if they were my own. I have a lot of repeat clients who book their holidays around my availability. Every fur, feather and fin baby holds a special place in my heart and I have cared for all kinds of breeds, ages and personalities.

I know firsthand the peace of mind that comes from knowing your home and pets are in good hands. As a local Peninsula homeowner myself (Clontarf) I am dedicated to providing that same level of care for you. Nothing is too much trouble...all you need to do is ask! I’m committed to providing the best of care for your pets and available for overnight stays and checking on your pets during the day to make sure they are always happy and content.

My friends and family call me a 'neat freak' and say I am the most organised person they know.

Hi Everyone!

My name is Jo and I am very grateful to Sandy and the girls for letting me be a part of this amazing team.

I love animals- especially dogs. I personally adopt my furry friends from rescues because the thought of them having no-one to love them breaks my heart.

I have a very caring and nurturing nature, and after 20 years in childcare, I have decided to move into caring for animals. If I am fortunate to mind your pets or walk your dogs, I promise I will love them as much as my own.

I have recently moved up to the Redcliffe Peninsula from the Gold Coast where I was dog-sitting at my premises. Back then, I had my beautiful rescue dog Heidi, who, (I know I'm being biased), was the best dog in the world. I miss her terribly.

Now I have a beautiful female Ginger cat named Ethel. A lot of cat lovers mention how rare it is to have a female Ginger cat but Ethel was from a litter of 4 females and 1 male. She came from a friend's cat who accidentally got out (with the help of her 4 year old daughter) and got herself pregnant with one of the local strays.

She is Ginger, she is feisty, she is stubborn and she is adorable.

Growing up I’ve had an array of pets over the years. When I was a toddler in Malaysia our complex had a pet monkey! I've also had dogs, cats, fish, birds, a turtle, and a couple of axolotls. Oh and tadpoles! And while I was educating before and after school care we had a pet stick insect that the children named Crystal.

Once again, I am looking forward to meeting you and your pets.
